Balance in life is easy to achieve: love people, animals, plants and food. I combined my love with passion for travel. Best thing is: I live my ideas – come and meet me, and I will take you to a journey full of tasty food, Croatian way.
For early risers, first stop will be Zagreb oldest bakery where you will smell the scent of freshly baked bread, buns and pretzels, prepared according to old family recipe which has been preserved through three generations.
Down the Tkalčićeva street, renowned for its cafes, we will enter the enclosed part of the farmer’s market for cheese tasting.
If your food tour starts here, in the open-air part of the farmer’s market you will witness first hand the diversity of ingredients of local farmers, and in the fish market you will learn varieties of fresh water and Adriatic sea fish.
Get ready for a small surprise, because for 20 minutes you will roll up your sleeves and become a chef at Kuhaona’s cooking studio, cooking a simple Dalmatian meal.
After tasty brunch, we are going to wine-bar and shop located in Zagreb’s Upper town for food and wine tasting. In easygoing and relaxed atmosphere you will sample: Croatian indigenous wine paired with local finger food: prosciutto, salami, cheese, olive-oil and bread.
Through the Radićeva street and Upper town Gradec you come to the place of Zagreb’s old inn, where you will taste the traditional Croatian meal typical for Zagreb region.
In the end we finish the tour at the renowned Zagreb “rush hour street” with coffee and dessert.
During the entire tour, your guide will talk about history and gastronomy to round up the entire experience.
