By joining Zagreb Food Tours you’ll taste Croatian traditional dishes and find out where it comes from, why we eat local stuff and what’s the history/location behind each food and drink.
Thank you so much for the wonderful tour you organised for us today. We did
not realise how fantastic the tour would be but what you organised was
Starting with a visit to a bakery that has been making bread for decades and
run by third generation members of the family with traditional ovens. The
bread we tried was excellent. Then onto cheese tasting at the Dolac markets
and cooking sardines which was accompanied by local red wine at your
wonderful cooking school. We continued on to tasting a platter of Croatian
traditional foods accompanied by a glass of local white wine. Then when we
thought we were finished we had lunch of duck and mlinci with salad. Again
the opportunity to taste another white local wine. This was followed by
chocolate tasting and finished with coffee.
All of the above with a wonderful commentary and amazing information about
Zagreb and Croatia as we walked around Zagreb. The tour was excellent value
and we could only recommend it as being an amazing introduction to Croatian
Zagreb Food Tours is a joint project of Funky Zagreb tours and Karmela Karlović. In a short time span, through Food&Wine tours we wish to show you the flavours and aromas of the Croatian climate through local foods, products and dishes.
Walking through the very center of the city, we will revive the tradition and the lifestyle of local population.
